Senior MIS Reporting & Systems Developer
- Reports to: Head of MIS

Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in Bristol.
Role Purpose
- Lead the design and upkeep of dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI and SSRS to help managers make better decisions.
- Oversee systems and processes that support staff and students, making everything more efficient and reducing admin work.
- Manage a small team to ensure data systems run smoothly and meet internal and external deadlines.
Main Duties
- Maintain and improve existing reports while building new ones as needed.
- Create and manage performance dashboards used by leadership teams.
- Oversee system upgrades and integrations to reduce duplication and improve workflow.
- Provide technical support for tools used to manage student data.
- Handle ad-hoc reporting requests and ensure accurate, clean data is delivered.
- Work closely with IT, HR, Finance, and other teams to ensure systems communicate properly and meet business needs.
Requirements
- Strong experience with SQL, Power BI, and SSRS - confident working with large, complex datasets.
- Previous leadership or team management experience.
- Skilled in developing data solutions that support business performance and efficiency.
- Comfortable working with multiple systems and integrating data across platforms.
- Must hold a valid driving license and have access to a vehicle
