The Opportunity
Are you a passionate Maths tutor looking for a teaching role where your skills genuinely change lives? We are recruiting for an inspiring Functional Skills Maths Tutor to join a leading public services and education provider, on-site at a HMP. In this role, you will deliver City Guilds qualifications from Entry Level 1 to Level 2. Teaching small, focused groups of up to 12 adult learners, you will help them develop the practical numeracy skills, confidence, and qualifications they need to unlock employment opportunities upon release and build a brighter future.
What You Will Be Doing
- Engaging Delivery: Plan and deliver inclusive Functional Skills Maths lessons, making the subject practical, accessible, and relevant to real-world success.
- Individualised Learning: Conduct initial assessments using diagnostic tools (such as BKSB) to map out tailored learning paths.
