We are seeking an experienced roofing professional to train and support roofing apprentices. This role is ideal for an experienced roofer looking to move away from site work into a stable, permanent role, or for an existing tutor wanting to continue delivering trade-based training.

The role involves delivering practical and classroom-based training, assessing learner progress, and supporting apprentices through to successful completion of their programme.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver practical and theory-based roofing training to apprentices
  • Demonstrate correct methods, safe working practices, and industry standards
  • Assess learner work and maintain accurate training and progress records
  • Support apprentices through their programme and end-point assessment
  • Work with employers to monitor learner progress
  • Maintain a safe, organised workshop and classroom environment
  • Complete required paperwork and compliance documentation
  • Monitor attendance and learner welfare, including safeguarding concerns
  • Keep industry knowledge up to date and complete CPD

Essential Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in roofing
