Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Delivery: Design and deliver high-impact learning programmes focused on life skills, employability, and Functional Skills (English and Maths) from Entry Level 1 to Level 1.
  • Bespoke Planning: Create innovative schemes of work and learning materials tailored to a diverse cohort with varying packages of support.
  • Assessment Mastery: Coordinate and maintain detailed records of formative and summative assessments, tracking progress against EHCP objectives and academic milestones.
  • Student Advocacy: Act as a key point of contact for internal and external examination entries, ensuring all students are prepared and supported through their assessment journeys.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Work alongside support teams to ensure that each learner's specific package of support is seamlessly integrated into their daily educational experience.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or equivalent teaching qualification. (We also welcome applications from "Unqualified" candidates with relevant industry experience who are willing to work toward these.)
  • Practitioner Excellence: Proven track record (or a profound desire) to support students with SEND and SEMH needs, navigating complex profiles with patience and strategy.
