The Opportunity
Are you an experienced painter and decorator looking to step off the scaffolding, escape the seasonal weather, and pass your trade skills on to the next generation? Or are you a creative construction lecturer seeking a fresh, highly rewarding teaching environment? We are recruiting for a creative Painting Decorating Lecturer to join a progressive education team working within a secure adult environment in Kent. This role offers a unique opportunity to teach the fundamentals of the trade to small, focused groups of around 8 learners per session. Many of these individuals have had negative past experiences with mainstream education; your workshop will be a space where they can build practical trade skills, grow their confidence, and gain the tangible qualifications needed to build a stable career path upon release.
