SALARY: £33,656 - £39,034 per annum (plus potential £3,000 market premium)
JOB PURPOSE: To deliver high-quality teaching and training across full-time, adult and apprenticeship Plumbing programmes, ensuring learners develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required to succeed in the industry.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver engaging and effective teaching across 16-19, adult and apprenticeship programmes
- Plan and deliver lessons covering:
- Hot and cold water systems
- Central heating systems
- Sanitation and drainage
- Health and safety
- Renewable technologies
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential:
- Level 3 qualification in Plumbing or Domestic Heating
- Relevant industry experience in Plumbing
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Willingness to work towards a teaching qualification
Desirable:
- Teaching qualification (PGCE/Cert Ed or equivalent)
- Assessor and Internal Verifier qualifications
- Experience delivering in Further Education or Apprenticeships
