Salary: £38,183 - £39,796 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, practical and theory-based training in mechanical engineering
  • Support learners through Level 3 qualifications and apprenticeship standards
  • Share industry knowledge and practices to help students reach their potential
  • Promote safe working practices and maintain a positive, professional learning environment
  • Contribute to curriculum delivery and continuous improvement processes

What You'll Need:

  • Level 3 (or higher) qualification in mechanical engineering
  • Industry experience in mechanical maintenance, ideally including hydraulics/pneumatics
  • Solid understanding of Health & Safety procedures
  • Good interpersonal and IT skills
  • A commitment to learner success and a passion for passing on knowledge

Desirable but not essential:

  • Teaching and/or assessor qualifications (training will be provided)
  • Familiarity with CAD software

Additional Information:

  • A full driving licence and own transport is required for occasional inter-site travel
  • This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check
