Location: Rotherham area

Hours: Full-time (37 hours per week, all year round)

Contract: Permanent

Salary: Up to £32,199 per annum + £5,000 Market Force Supplement

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Delivering high-quality teaching and assessment up to Level 3 across study programmes, adult courses, and apprenticeships
  • Teaching a range of subjects such as mechanical engineering, maintenance, mechatronics, and machining in both workshop and classroom settings
  • Developing engaging, creative resources that bring lessons to life and inspire student success
  • Monitoring learner progress, setting SMART targets, and supporting learners to reach their full potential
  • Collaborating with internal teams including Technicians, Work Placement Officers, Curriculum Admin, and Exams

What We're Looking For:

  • A vocational qualification at Level 3 or above in Mechanical Engineering
  • A teaching qualification and assessor award (or willingness to work towards)
  • Practical industry experience and strong knowledge of maintenance, machining, and/or mechatronics
  • An enthusiastic and engaging approach to teaching
  • A collaborative and motivated team player with excellent communication skills
