Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in Cambridgeshire, seeking a proactive individual to start as soon as possible.

Role Purpose

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local schools, sixth forms and community partners to support student recruitment.
  • Coordinate and deliver engaging marketing and outreach activities to promote the college's full range of educational services.
  • Represent the college's values and vision to external audiences through professional, well-organised events and communications.

Primary Duties

  • Develop and nurture partnerships with schools and colleges to promote the college's offering and support student decision-making.
  • Plan and manage school liaison events such as careers fairs, presentations, taster sessions, and open days, ensuring high-quality delivery.
  • Support marketing efforts with tailored communications for key academic milestones, aligning with the wider marketing strategy.
  • Represent the college at external and internal events, delivering presentations to students, parents and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain oversight of the school events calendar, keeping records updated and coordinating with staff to ensure engagement success.
  • Monitor and evaluate outreach activity, providing insights and recommendations to improve future engagement and marketing outcomes.

Requirements

  • Hold a good standard of education, including GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths; qualifications in marketing or education engagement desirable.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Have strong experience in school liaison, marketing, or public-facing educational roles, ideally within a further or higher education environment.
  • Be capable of planning and delivering events, creating promotional content, and building relationships with diverse audiences.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence to present to large groups and work independently.
