Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in Manchester. This is a term-time only role, starting in September 2026.
Support young people with SEND, SEMH, and ASD to understand their options and plan their next steps.
Provide clear careers advice around further study, university, apprenticeships, training, work, or supported adult pathways.
Work with students, families, staff, and external providers to help each young person move into a positive destination.
Help students with CVs, applications, interviews, personal statements, UCAS, and next-step planning.
Build links with employers, universities, training providers, sixth forms, and other education providers.
Contribute to EHCP reviews, transition plans, and multi-agency meetings where needed.
Qualifications:
- Qualified careers advisor, ideally Level 6 or above.
- Experience giving careers guidance to young people.
- Knowledge of further study, university, apprenticeships, training, and employment routes.
