We are recruiting Communication Support Workers to join an FE setting, helping students access their learning and achieve their potential.
The Role
- Provide
BSL/communication support in the classroom.
- Support deaf and hard of hearing students with their learning.
- Adapt learning materials and curriculum content.
- Work closely with teaching and support staff.
- Support students with EHCPs and monitor progress.
- Promote deaf awareness across the college.
- Support students during trips, visits and wider activities.
About You
You'll need
- BSL Level 3 minimum
- Strong signing skills.
- Experience supporting deaf/hard of hearing people
- Ideally, experience within an education setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A flexible and student-focused approach.
