I'm currently supporting a fantastic College that is looking to appoint a People & Culture Manager to join their forward-thinking and values-driven HR team. This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced HR professional to take ownership of key people workstreams including employee relations, safer recruitment, EDI, wellbeing, performance, and policy - playing a pivotal role in shaping a positive and high-performing workplace culture.

What you'll be doing:

  • Leading key HR workstreams such as employee relations, EDI, wellbeing, performance, and policy
  • Managing complex employee relations cases and supporting organisational change
  • Driving a strong culture of safer recruitment and compliance
  • Using data and insights to inform decision-making and improve HR practices
  • Designing and delivering training across a range of HR topics
  • Supporting performance management processes, including appraisals and development plans
  • Building strong relationships with stakeholders, including senior leaders and trade unions
  • Contributing to strategic planning and wider People & Culture initiatives

What we're looking for:

  • CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent)
  • Strong experience in employee relations and managing complex HR cases
  • Previous experience within a similar environment (education or public sector desirable)
  • Knowledge of employment law and equality legislation
  • Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills
  • Data-driven approach with strong analytical skills
  • A proactive, values-led approach with high emotional intelligence
