About the Role
/n
As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll work alongside teaching staff to provide the individual attention that helps each learner engage, make progress and grow in confidence. Working with a FE provider in the South East, you'll play a key role in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
/n
You'll deliver one-to-one and small-group support, adapting your approach to suit different needs and learning styles. Your patience and encouragement will help learners build the skills and independence they need to succeed.
/n
Your responsibilities will include:
/n
/n
- /n
Supporting learners individually and in small groups both in and out of the classroom.
/n
- /n
Working alongside teaching staff to reinforce learning and deliver interventions.
/n
- /n
Encouraging learners to build confidence, motivation and independence.
/n
- /n
Adapting resources and support to remove barriers to learning.
/n
- /n
Monitoring and feeding back on learner progress to teaching colleagues.
/n
/n
What We're Looking For

Essential:

Experience of supporting learners in an education setting
/n
- /n
Patience, empathy and a genuine commitment to learner progress
/n
- /n
The ability to work collaboratively with teaching staff and colleagues
/n
- /n
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
/n
/n
Desirable (but not essential):
/n
/n
- /n
A relevant qualification in learning support or education
/n
- /n
Experience supporting learners with additional needs
/n
