Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in Grimsby.

  • Support managers with everyday people-related matters like performance, absence, and recruitment.
  • Build positive relationships across teams while promoting a helpful and solutions-focused HR culture.
  • Help implement people processes that support staff wellbeing, development, and change.
  • Advise managers on staff issues such as performance, absences, flexible working, and grievances.
  • Support meetings by attending, taking notes, and guiding on HR policies and next steps.
  • Help with recruitment by processing agency requests and advising on contracts.
  • Monitor and update HR systems, reports, and trackers (e.g. sickness, training, post changes).

Requirements:

  • CIPD Level 3 or higher.
  • Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practice.
  • Previous experience handling employee relations issues.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and relationship-building skills.
