Location: Birmingham

Salary: up to £35,000

Type: 37 hours per week, Onsite role

Dovetail and Slate are recruiting on behalf of a leading education provider based in Birmingham.

Job Summary

This role is ideal for a proactive, discreet PA with senior-level support experience. The position requires strong organizational skills to manage the Executive Office, liaise with staff and stakeholders, and handle a varied workload while contributing to key projects for the Senior Leadership Team.

Main Duties

  • Manage SLT diaries, schedule routine meetings, and coordinate events with other departments.
  • Handle inquiries from internal and external sources, often without needing to refer to SLT.
  • Prepare for meetings, including drafting agendas, minute-taking, and distributing necessary documentation.
  • Organize room bookings, hospitality, and stationery supplies as needed.
  • Create presentations, reports, and other documents for the SLT, and support/deputize for the EA to the Principal.
  • Coordinate college events, ensure confidentiality, and uphold college values, including safeguarding and equality.
  • Maintain accurate filing systems, improve administrative procedures, and notify SLT of any identified risks.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a PA role supporting a senior executive
  • Experience collating minutes from meetings
  • High level of IT proficiency and experience of Microsoft Office
  • Proven diary management skills
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities
  • Able to pass a DBS check
  • No previous convictions
