Are you passionate about developing your electrical skills in a hands-on, fast-paced environment? We're looking for a committed and enthusiastic Electrical Support Engineer to join a growing team delivering high-quality commercial electrical installations across the UK.
In this role, you'll work alongside experienced electricians and project teams, supporting the installation and maintenance of electrical systems. You'll gain exposure to a wide range of projects, learning best practices while contributing to safe, efficient, and professional installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in all aspects of commercial electrical installation under the supervision of senior electricians.
- Support coordination between mechanical and electrical teams for routing, containment, and sealing work.
- Participate in site setup, cable routing, fixing, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Communicate clearly with team leads and project managers regarding progress and site challenges.
- Promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement on every project.
- Demonstrate a proactive attitude and commitment to professional growth.
Requirements
- Previous experience as an electrical improver or support electrician.
- Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
- Reliable, motivated, and able to follow instruction confidently.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel/stay away as required.
- Own transport and basic tools.
Minimum Qualifications
- ECS Electrical Labourer Card
- Level 2 in Electrical Installations (C&G/EAL)
- Level 3 Electrical Installations (C&G/EAL or NVQ)
Desirable Qualifications
- AM2, 2391 (or equivalent)
- PV or EV Installation Course
- ECS Gold Card
