Are you passionate about developing your electrical skills in a hands-on, fast-paced environment? We're looking for a committed and enthusiastic Electrical Support Engineer to join a growing team delivering high-quality commercial electrical installations across the UK.

In this role, you'll work alongside experienced electricians and project teams, supporting the installation and maintenance of electrical systems. You'll gain exposure to a wide range of projects, learning best practices while contributing to safe, efficient, and professional installations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in all aspects of commercial electrical installation under the supervision of senior electricians.
  • Support coordination between mechanical and electrical teams for routing, containment, and sealing work.
  • Participate in site setup, cable routing, fixing, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Communicate clearly with team leads and project managers regarding progress and site challenges.
  • Promote safety, quality, and continuous improvement on every project.
  • Demonstrate a proactive attitude and commitment to professional growth.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an electrical improver or support electrician.
  • Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Reliable, motivated, and able to follow instruction confidently.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel/stay away as required.
  • Own transport and basic tools.

Minimum Qualifications

  • ECS Electrical Labourer Card
  • Level 2 in Electrical Installations (C&G/EAL)
  • Level 3 Electrical Installations (C&G/EAL or NVQ)

Desirable Qualifications

  • AM2, 2391 (or equivalent)
  • PV or EV Installation Course
  • ECS Gold Card
