Location: Thrapston

Contract: Full-time, Permanent 37.5 hours

Salary: Up to £45,000 per annum (DoE)

Key Responsibilities

  • Working closely with the Head of School, regional and national staff to drive school improvement.
  • Supporting the Head of School to ensure the quality of education is delivered to a high standard and students are supported accordingly.
  • Providing an example of excellence as a senior classroom practitioner and inspiring and motivating other staff.
  • Lead, motivate, support, challenge, and mentor all staff to secure continual improvement, including her/his own continuing professional development.
  • Have and create high expectations of staff and students.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, including safeguarding.
  • Promote and secure a range of high quality extra-curricular activities within the school.

Requirements

  • Teaching qualification (QTS/QTLS) or willing to work towards
  • Degree or equivalent
  • Maths and English to at least level 2
  • Specialist teaching qualification in a chosen subject (desirable)
