We are recruiting for a Mechanical Engineering Lecturer to join a forward-thinking college in Derbyshire. Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver high-quality teaching across Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering programmes (Levels 1-3)
- Facilitate both hands-on workshop sessions and classroom-based theoretical learning
- Support, assess, and monitor learner progress to ensure successful outcomes
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement
- Create an inclusive and motivating learning environment
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (or equivalent)
- Industry experience within mechanical/manufacturing engineering
- A passion for teaching and developing learners
- HNC (or higher) in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering
- A recognised teaching qualification (for candidates applying at the top of the salary band)
- Salary between £35,000 - £46,000 (top band for qualified lecturers)
- Full teaching qualifications funded for unqualified candidates
- 51 days annual leave
- Generous 28.68% pension scheme
