Recruitment for education and the public sector
Are you an experienced plumbing professional looking to pass your skills on to the next generation of tradespeople?
About the Role
As a Plumbing Lecturer, you'll deliver engaging, high-quality teaching and assessment across plumbing programmes at a further education provider, helping learners build the practical skills, technical knowledge and confidence they need to progress in the industry.
Working closely with colleagues in the team, you'll act as a personal tutor, promote strong attendance and contribute to the planning, development and review of your subject area.
If you don't yet hold a teaching qualification, this could still be the role for you. Our client welcomes applications from industry professionals and offers support to help you move into teaching.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering effective teaching and assessment across plumbing programmes, in both workshop and classroom settings.
- Supporting learners to achieve and progress, both in practical sessions and through tutorial support.
- Assessing, reviewing and tracking learner progress and maintaining accurate records.
- Maintaining a safe workshop environment and working to health and safety standards.
- Contributing to curriculum planning, development and review within your subject area.
