Learning Support Assistant – Personal Care

About the Role
A further education provider is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to deliver personal care support to learners, helping them access their studies safely and with dignity.
You'll work closely with learners, colleagues and families, providing responsive day-to-day support within a team where discretion, patience and reliability matter.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing personal care support to learners in line with their individual care plans.
- Supporting learners to access their learning safely throughout the college day.
- Working alongside teaching and support colleagues to meet learners' needs.
- Maintaining accurate, confidential records of the support provided.
- Treating learners with dignity and respect at all times.
What We're Looking For
- Experience of providing personal care
- A caring, patient and professional approach
- Ability to work as part of a team and use your initiative
- Confidence handling sensitive information with discretion
Desirable (but not essential):
- Previous experience of supporting learners in an education setting
