Are you an experienced HGV professional looking to share your knowledge with the next generation of drivers and technicians?
About the Role
You'll join a multi-academy trust to teach and assess learners working towards HGV qualifications, combining practical instruction with classroom-based learning.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering engaging practical and theory sessions to HGV learners.
- Assessing learner progress and maintaining accurate records.
- Contributing to curriculum development to reflect current industry standards.
- Supporting learners to develop the technical and employability skills needed to succeed in the sector.
What We're Looking For
- Extensive industry experience in HGV driving or maintenance
- Strong practical and technical knowledge of the HGV sector
- A willingness to work towards a teaching qualification if not already held
Desirable (but not essential):
- A recognised teaching or assessing qualification
- Experience teaching or instructing learners in a classroom or workshop setting
