You’ll join a further education provider in a catering role that combines hands-on kitchen leadership with responsibility for food quality and compliance standards.
You’ll oversee day-to-day kitchen operations while making sure food safety, hygiene and quality procedures are followed consistently and recorded accurately.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Leading the day-to-day running of the kitchen and food production.
- Maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency.
- Ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Carrying out and recording quality and compliance checks.
- Supervising and supporting kitchen staff.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience as a Head Chef or in a senior kitchen role
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene and compliance requirements
- Experience of leading and supervising a kitchen team
- An Enhanced DBS issued within the last 12 months
- Two references from your most recent employers
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience of working in an education or large-scale catering setting
