- Carrying out minor repairs and routine maintenance tasks.
- Setting up rooms, furniture and equipment for lessons, meetings and events.
- Monitoring the condition of the buildings and grounds and reporting any issues or hazards.
- Supporting the safety and security of the site for learners, staff and visitors.

- Practical skills and experience in a caretaking, maintenance or facilities role
- A reliable, flexible approach and the ability to work on your own initiative
- An awareness of health and safety in the workplace
- The ability to work well with colleagues, learners and visitors
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience of working in an education or public sector setting
- A relevant maintenance or health and safety qualification
