Aeronautical Engineering Lecturer
Temporary | Contract
Location: the South East
Start date: 26 August 2026
Are you an experienced aeronautical or avionics engineering professional looking to pass your skills on to the next generation?
About the Role
You'll join the engineering team at a further education provider, delivering teaching, learning and assessment across aeronautical engineering programmes. You'll work with learners in both classroom and practical workshop settings, combining theory with the hands-on skills they need to progress into the industry.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering theory and practical sessions across aeronautical engineering programmes.
- Planning lessons and preparing resources that meet a range of learner needs.
- Assessing learner progress and providing constructive feedback.
- Supporting learners to achieve their qualifications and career goals.
- Contributing to curriculum development and continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
- Level 3 qualification in aeronautical or avionics engineering, or equivalent
- Relevant industry experience
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A genuine interest in developing others
Desirable (but not essential):
- A recognised teaching qualification
- Previous experience of teaching, assessing or instructing
