We are seeking to recruit an experienced, highly motivated, and forward-thinking individual as a Lecturer in Health and Science.
Working at our modern regional campus, you will be responsible for teaching and supporting students across a range of Health and Science programmes, helping them develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to progress into higher education or employment.
The ideal candidate will have experience of delivering biology, chemistry, and physics up to Level 2.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and prepare innovative schemes of work, lesson plans, and assessment schedules that engage and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
- Carry out practical experiments linking to the specification to support learners to achieve their qualification.
- Plan and deliver highly effective learning programmes for diverse groups of learners in a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment.
- Support students' academic, personal, and professional development, working creatively to overcome individual barriers to learning.
- Bring relevant vocational or industry knowledge to enhance teaching and learning, ensuring programmes remain current and aligned with sector expectations.
- Monitor student progress effectively and provide timely feedback and interventions to support achievement, retention, and progression.
- Contribute to curriculum development and play an active role in maintaining high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment.
