Electrical Lecturer / Assessor - Apprenticeships Role Overview A further education college in the Bristol area is seeking a full-time, permanent Electrical Lecturer/Assessor to join the Construction Apprenticeships team. This role involves managing a caseload of electrical apprentices, guiding them from initial screening and induction through to successful completion and End Point Assessment (AM2S). Key Responsibilities Manage, support, and mentor a caseload of electrical apprentices throughout their learning journey. Conduct learner screening, interviews, inductions, enrolments, and individual learning plans. Deliver and assess high-quality workplace learning, providing coaching, technical training, and constructive feedback. Monitor learner progress, achievement, and off-the-job training requirements to meet funding and audit standards using tracking software like Smart Assessor. Build and maintain positive relationships with employers through regular communication and progress reviews. Work collaboratively with teaching, learning support, and functional skills teams.
