Personal Development Tutor

Are you an experienced teacher or cover supervisor?
About the Role
We're recruiting a Personal Development Tutor to join a further education provider in the South West. You'll work closely with learners to support their progress, wellbeing and next steps, helping them get the most from their time in education.
No formal teaching qualification is required - a genuine enthusiasm for supporting learners matters more.
Your responsibilities will include:

Holding one-to-one meetings with learners to discuss progress plans and develop targets.

Delivering the personal development programme

Monitoring and actioning issues with timekeeping, attendance and behaviour.

Supporting learners with their next steps, including UCAS applications, apprenticeships, further study and work.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
-
Experience delivering to classes
- 1:1 Tutorial/Pastoral experience

An Enhanced DBS check, or a willingness to obtain one
Desirable (but not essential):

Knowledge of additional learning needs

Up-to-date safeguarding training, or a willingness to obtain it
