Dovetail Recruitment are pleased to be working with a prestigious client in Ringwood, who are recruiting for a Part Time Accounts Assistant. The business has been established for many years, and they provide a high level of service to their clients. The Part Time Accounts Assistant will be working office based 22.5 hours per week, across 3 days 9.00 am – 5.00 pm.
The successful Accounts Assistant will be responsible for:
- Sales and purchase ledger
- Matching and coding invoices
- Bank reconciliations
Salary and Benefits:
- An hourly rate £DOE
- Working 3 days per week 9.00 am – 5.00 pm
- 20 days holiday pro rata plus Bank Holidays

Duties and Responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant:
- Responsible for incoming paperwork
- Matching CMJ invoices to store copies
- Working through CMJ statements to work out the RFC and payable invoices
- Checking CMJ invoices are stocked into bransom correctly
- Chasing stores for outstanding invoices
- Invoice coding
- Preparing banking sheets, logging petty cash and completing cashbook
- Filing all paperwork and organising filing system
- Inputting, matching purchase invoices
- Ordering stationery, office supplies
- Opportunity to get involved with other tasks when they arise
Knowledge and Experience:
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive financial information
- Effective organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
