You’re an experienced Buyer who loves project management. You enjoy taking the lead and being the driving force behind projects, keeping customers in the loop. You have a good understanding of market trends and will like to come up with new ideas while keeping product quality in mind.
What you’ll be doing as Project Buyer:
* Lead the project buying team to ensure the seamless delivery of customer orders/projects.
* Work with suppliers across the world to source finished goods and work with factories to oversee product development.
* Track and control project costs to remain within or below allocated budgets.
* Manage the critical path to ensure projects remain on time and align with budget.
* Ensure product quality and compliance is on point.
Minimum Experience:
* Previous experience as a buyer or Purchasing Manager or similar in the FMCG industry
* Good negotiation skills
* Ability to travel to meet suppliers occasionally, as and when needed
* Experience managing budgets
