Dovetail Recruitment are proud to be working with a long-standing client who are looking for an HR Business Partner to join their People Team of seven.

The business has been growing throughout the 10 years we have worked with them, and people remain at the heart of everything they do.

Alongside the wider team, you will support all aspects of HR and recruitment across the UK while also gaining exposure to teams in South Africa and Asia, making this a fantastic opportunity to broaden your international HR experience.

This is a strategic and analytical HR Business Partner role where you'll work closely with leaders to develop HR strategies aligned with business objectives, support organisational growth and drive employee engagement, performance and talent management initiatives.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Strategic HR Partnering
  • Support leaders with HR strategy, workforce planning, organisational design, succession planning and talent management.
  • Partner with stakeholders to align people initiatives with business objectives.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement, retention, performance and organisational effectiveness.
  • Employee Relations & Performance
  • Advise managers on employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and performance management cases.
  • Conduct investigations and support workplace conflict resolution in line with employment law and company policies.
  • Support performance reviews, goal setting, coaching and employee development initiatives.
  • Talent Acquisition & Development
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to support recruitment activities, candidate selection and onboarding.
  • Coordinate learning and development initiatives to support employee growth and capability building.
  • HR Compliance & Reporting
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, HR policies and best practice.
  • Maintain and develop HR policies, procedures, reporting and HR analytics to support informed decision-making.
  • Employee Lifecycle & Culture
  • Manage and support the employee lifecycle from recruitment through to onboarding, probation, development and retention.
  • Work closely with managers to identify workforce planning and skills requirements.
  • Support employee engagement, culture and training initiatives, alongside HR projects and general People & Culture administration.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an HR Business Partner, HRBP, Senior HR Advisor, HR Manager or HR Generalist operating at a strategic level.
  • Strong Employee Relations experience, including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and performance management cases.
  • CIPD qualification.
