We are proud to be working with a well-established and thriving client in the New Milton area. They are seeking a driven individual to join the team in a brand-new eCommerce operations role. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a team of Assistant Team Leaders and Packing Technicians in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You will play a key role in driving performance, fostering continuous improvement, and working collaboratively across departments to make a tangible impact on our packing operations.
Salary and Benefits:
- A salary of circa £30,000 per annum plus discretionary bonus and opportunity for overtime
- Working hours are 07:30-15:15 Monday and 07:30-16:15, Tuesday to Friday

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the eCommerce packing team, including training, holiday planning, absence management and performance reviews
- Lead the team to meet or exceed KPIs, including packing accuracy, labour efficiency, and waste reduction
- Promote and lead a continuous improvement culture by setting performance improvement targets and encouraging change
- Implement and maintain quality control processes
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and adherence to 5S principles
- Lead and encourage cross departmental communication and working well with the Ops Lead to ensure best practice and cross functional teams
- Celebrate good performance
- Manage order fulfilment software
- Manage and interpret internal systems and reports
Minimum Skills and Experience Required:
- Proven experience in a leadership or operational role, ideally within the manufacturing sector and FMCG sector
- Experience in eCommerce operations is desirable but not essential
- Great attention to detail with the ability to spot issues and resolve them effectively
- Clear communication skills with both colleagues and customers
- A proactive attitude with enthusiasm for taking initiative and collaborating effectively with the wider team
- Great personable skills
- Happy to expand your skills by using new technology and learning new ways of working
- Proficiency with Microsoft packages
