Dovetail Recruitment are pleased to be working with a well-established client in the Ferndown area. They are recruiting for a Customer Support Administrator who will be responsible for carrying out a variety of admin-based tasks within our Customer Support Department.

Providing back up to the Customer Support Desk dealing with calls and emails from customers and engineers, as well as carrying out other administration tasks to include:

  • Job invoicing
  • Processing of warranty claims
  • Following up estimated repairs
  • Arranging work from thorough examination inspections
  • Other ad-hoc admin tasks

Salary and Benefits:

  • A salary of £28,000 per annum
  • 23 days holiday + bank holidays, rising by one day a year to a maximum of 30 days

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide cover to the Customer Support Desk
  • Respond to enquiries from customers and engineers via phone and email professionally and courteously
  • Raise jobs, schedule engineers and sub-contractors
  • Follow up outstanding jobs and overdue servicing
  • In conjunction with the Field Service Engineers, agree the forward planning of their daily activities
  • Carry out internal admin process for trucks, ensuring all parties are kept updated
  • Deal with customer queries as required
  • Carry out Job Invoicing
  • Checking all labour and parts have been booked to the jobs correctly
  • Process warranty jobs to completion on systems
  • Follow up estimates on a daily basis by email or phone
  • Complete basic admin records for in house facilities

Minimum Skills Required:

  • Experience within service/engineering/motor trade administration
  • Good commercial awareness and understanding
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Good skills in Microsoft Excel & Outlook
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to plan and problem solve
  • Decision making
