Dovetail Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for an organic food business based in Christchurch, who are looking for a new Customer Service Support Coordinator to join their small but enthusiastic team. The client has high standards for their products and focuses on only the purest most natural organic foods. They also have high standards of service for their customers and have excellent reviews because of this.

We are looking for a Customer Service Support Coordinator who enjoys being an integral part of a small but busy business, supporting customers, solving problems, and keeping orders moving in a high-volume environment. This role suits someone resilient, empathetic, organised, and naturally customer-focused. You’ll be joining a small, hands-on team where everyone pitches in, gaining exposure to many different aspects of how a business works.

The role involves being the first point of contact for both retail and trade customers, handling enquiries while coordinating orders and documentation behind the scenes. This is a frontline, problem-solving role where customer experience really matters.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a high volume of customer enquiries professionally and efficiently
  • Providing technical support and answering product-related questions (specs, testing, regulatory info)
  • Supporting customers with delivery issues, returns, and order queries
  • Processing and printing customer orders accurately, both consumer and trade
  • Liaising with couriers to resolve delivery problems and manage claims
  • Uploading invoices and maintaining customer records
  • Working closely with the rest of the business to ensure everything flows smoothly

About you:

  • Previous customer service experience ideally within a product-related industry
  • A calm, empathetic approach when resolving issues
  • Good computer literacy and experience with order systems, e-commerce or ERPs

What’s on offer:

  • Salary circa £30,000–£35,000
  • Monday–Friday working hours (8am–5pm)
  • 20 days holiday including bank holidays
