We’re looking for a Graduate Technologist with a Chemistry or Science degree to join our NON-FOOD FMCG Product Development team. This is a commercial, product-focused role, working on consumer goods such as Health & Beauty, Household, Reusable Bags, and Impulse Non-Food products.
You’ll support new product development (NPD), manage product safety and regulatory compliance, work with UK, EU and Asia-based suppliers, and collaborate with Product, Commercial, and Supply Chain teams to bring products to market.
Key Responsibilities- Support NON-FOOD product development & product launches
- Assist with product specifications, safety, and compliance checks
- Work with global suppliers to ensure performance and safety
- Review packaging, artwork, and labelling for regulatory compliance
- Coordinate sampling, testing, and quality reviews
- Support factory trials, supplier audits, and pre-production runs
- Manage technical queries from internal teams, suppliers, and customers
- Attend factory visits, trade shows, and industry events
- Promote sustainability, ethical sourcing, and continuous improvement
- Chemistry / Science degree (or related)
- Interest in NON-FOOD FMCG Product Development
- Graduate or 0–3 years’ experience in product, NPD, technical or FMCG roles
- Strong organisation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Commercial mindset and passion for consumer products
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving ability
- Not suitable for candidates with only food industry or lab-focused experience.
