Dovetail Recruitment are recruiting a National Account Executive for their client based in Dorset. The business operates within the retail sector, working with a wide range of established customers across the UK and internationally, including premium retailers, discounters and fashion-led brands. This role sits within the company’s largest category, which remains a key focus area. The team works with a clear ownership-led structure, where individuals manage their own accounts while contributing to shared projects and wider team objectives.
This National Account Executive position combines account management, project coordination and commercial support. You’ll manage multiple projects at different stages, from initial product concept through to launch. Projects typically run over several months, giving you full visibility of the process and the opportunity to see work through to completion. The role is well suited to someone looking to build hands-on commercial experience within a product-led business. You’ll receive structured support through a buddy and mentoring system, before taking on greater responsibility across your own accounts and projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of customer accounts
- Oversee projects from product concept through to launch
- Build costings, pricing and recommended retail prices (RRPs)
- Research and identify new customer opportunities using existing products
- Attend and contribute to weekly internal planning meetings
- Manage project timelines, resources and key relationships
