Salary: circa £35k OTE to be discussed

Location: Hammersmith

Hours: Monday to Friday 9.00 - 5.30pm (Friday 5pm finish)

Purpose of the Role: This is an active and varied sales role, in an exciting and fast-growing Apparel Design Business, whose wearers are some of the world’s most prestigious leading brands. You will have an excellent opportunity to make an immediate contribution to the team and company pipeline and directly help the team achieve our strategic goal to grow the company organically. In addition to the qualities and skills detailed below, a passion for clothing and a creative flair is a distinct advantage.

Responsibilities: You are responsible for supporting the Head of Sales, BDM, and Marketing & Comms Manager in identifying key strategic prospects and sales opportunities within our chosen target markets, helping build the sales pipeline and maintaining the Sales Database and tender planner.

  • To gain a good market overview and understanding of existing and potential target markets in the UK and EMEA
  • Actively research organisations (LinkedIn, calling, Lead Forensics, company websites etc.) to find key decision-makers and identify new prospects
  • Actively cold call prospects on a weekly schedule to build and identify sales leads, contract renewal dates, and build brand recognition and ultimately relationships
  • Set up sales meetings for Head of Sales & BDM to develop sales leads
  • Clearly identify the prospect’s requirements and help develop a strategy to meet these
  • Build, update and maintain the sales database and company opportunities pipeline
  • Take incoming sales calls and enquiries – respond quickly to find out their requirements and share with the team for qualification
  • Update and maintain sales team reports for weekly and monthly meetings
  • Check weekly tender trackers for upcoming opportunities and report back to team for qualification
  • Compile and send sales letters/emails and relevant marketing material in follow-up to new lead
  • Record all your own sales correspondence & actions on CRM (ZOHO)
  • Report weekly on your sales call / prospecting activities to the rest of the team
  • Help create proposals for individual projects/prospects based on their brief. Follow through to secure meetings with the client
  • Assist the Head of Sales & BDM with the tender process from pre-qualification stages through to final contract negotiations, including compiling tender documentation & commercials
  • Managing the showroom – set up for presentations, arrange relevant samples for each meeting

Points to Note:

  • Travel within the UK may occasionally be required in this role
  • Training will take place with the Head of Sales and Marketing & Comms Manager on all tools and systems
