Our client based just outside of Ringwood is a growing technology business. They are seeking an Accountant to join their team and take full ownership of day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting. This is a hands-on accountancy, standalone role requiring independence, accuracy, and proactive financial management. You will play a key part in ensuring the integrity of financial data, supporting strategic decision-making, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. This role will initially start 3 - 4 days per week, however as the role develops, will require full-time working hours.

Key Responsibilities as an Accountant:
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
- Maintain the general ledger and perform month-end close
- Manage VAT returns and support Corporation Tax processes
- Oversee payroll, and bank reconciliations
- Support year-end statutory accounts and audits
- Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting and forecasting
About You as an Accountant:
- Qualified or part-qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA preferred)
- 5+ years accounting experience
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently
- Integrity and Accountability: Upholds high ethical standards and takes ownership of outcomes
- Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy and compliance in all financial processes
