We’re recruiting an HR Advisor to join a growing People Team of seven within a successful, people-focused organisation.

The business has continued to expand throughout the 10 years we’ve partnered with them, and this role offers genuine variety, autonomy and the chance to make a real impact.

As HR Advisor, you’ll support managers and employees across the full employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on Employee Relations, performance management, recruitment, onboarding, learning and development, HR compliance and HR projects.

The Role

  • Employee Relations & Performance
  • Manage ER cases including disciplinary, grievance and absence.
  • Support managers with performance management and improvement plans.
  • Conduct investigations and ensure compliance with employment law.
  • Recruitment & Development
  • Support recruitment and interview processes.
  • Coordinate training sessions and maintain L&D records.
  • Identify development opportunities to support employee growth.
  • HR Compliance & Policy
  • Ensure HR processes meet legislation and best practice.
  • Support policy reviews and updates.
  • Provide guidance on HR queries, escalating where needed.
  • HR Systems, Payroll & Benefits
  • Maintain accurate employee data in Cezanne HR.
  • Support payroll, pensions and benefits administration.
  • Manage records relating to leave, sickness and entitlements.
  • Employee Lifecycle & Culture
  • Deliver a positive employee experience from onboarding onwards.
  • Partner with managers on workforce planning and skills needs.
  • Support engagement, wellbeing and company social events.
  • Provide general HR administration and project support.

About You

  • Experience as an HR Advisor, People Advisor or HR Generalist.
  • Strong background in Employee Relations casework.
  • Good understanding of employment law and HR best practice.
  • CIPD qualification (or working towards) is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
