We are seeking a highly organised and communicative Operations & Customer Support Coordinator who will also provide warehouse support at peak times, on behalf of our client to join their team. This client supplies pre-insulated pipe systems to installers, heating designers and contractors working in the heating and construction sectors.
This is a varied, hands-on office role at the heart of the business. You'll coordinate customer orders, transport and stock, while working closely with both customers and our warehouse team to ensure deliveries are completed efficiently, assisting in the warehouse in busy periods and when it is necessary to cover holidays and sickness leave.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate transport and deliveries for customer orders
- Monitor stock levels and report replenishment needs using the ERP system
- Track incoming supplier deliveries
- Prepare standard customer quotations
- Respond to day-to-day customer enquiries
- Coordinate dispatches with the warehouse and book deliveries through the transport portal
- Maintain accurate customer and product records in Odoo (ERP system)
- Escalate technical or commercial queries when required
- Warehouse fulfilment
About You
- Organised and able to manage multiple tasks
- Friendly and professional when dealing with customers
- Confident using computer systems (ERP/CRM experience is an advantage)
- Calm under pressure and able to prioritise work
- Willing to learn about our products and industry
- Experience in a trade, distribution or construction-related business is helpful but not essential
- Counterbalance FLT Licence or willing to be trained on a Forklift Truck
