Based in Basingstoke, our Client is looking for a Service and Sales Executive to join their team and play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while supporting the sales teams to achieve their targets. You will be supporting customers in France, acting as a central point of contact for Area Sales Managers and their territories.
You will manage a mix of inbound and outbound activity, ensuring queries are handled efficiently and opportunities to add value are maximised. Working as part of a collaborative and high-performing team, you will build strong relationships internally and externally, developing a strong understanding of our products, systems and processes to support both service and sales success.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide day-to-day sales and service support to Area Sales Managers and customers in France
- Handle inbound calls and emails, identifying and resolving customer queries efficiently
- Take ownership of issues and aim for First Call Resolution wherever possible
- Support outbound sales and service activity alongside the field sales team
- Identify opportunities to upsell during customer interactions
- Deliver against individual sales targets set annually
- Accurately record and manage customer interactions within CRM systems
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring a high level of satisfaction
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. Credit, Shipping, Operations) to resolve queries
- Develop knowledge of order processing, shipping and wider business operations
- A strong customer focus with a passion for delivering excellent service
- An understanding of how service and sales work together to achieve results
- Interest in the golf industry and product knowledge
- Previous experience in a customer service and/or inside sales role
- Fluent French language skills and mastery of the English language (essential)
- Strong communication skills with confidence on the phone and via email
- Ability to build relationships and work effectively with internal stakeholders
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- A collaborative, team-focused mindset, excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
- Experience of using MS Office, CRM and ERP systems (Oracle advantageous)
