Come join us as a UX/UI Designer to help shape the user experience within our Unreal Engine 4 and 5 simulations. This role is UK based remote only.
You will work closely with our Lead, UI team, and Engineers to assist in the design, creation, and implementation of game menu systems and related overlays for in-game features. The successful candidate will have experience working in a user interface design position in the video games or interactive website creative industries, with good technical abilities, knowledge of the UE4 or UE5 editor, and excellent attention to detail.

Main Responsibilities
- Design wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups for in-game interfaces and menus
- Create and maintain UI/UX documentation and style guides
- Present variations in style and accessibility
- Translate gameplay systems and mechanics into clear and engaging user experiences
- Design and craft required art assets for use in UI creation
- Assist the UI team in the creation of UI design bibles, feature mock-ups, and screen menu designs
- Work collaboratively with game designers and engineers to provide the best iterations of game interfaces
- Rapidly iterate upon design implementations to ensure the most intuitive experience is presented to the player
- Ensure consistency and usability across platforms (PC, console, mobile)
What we look for in you
- Professional use of design & prototyping tools such as Figma and Adobe Package programs (Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Proficiency with other software tools like Miro and Confluence
- A portfolio that contains strong UX & UI visual design
- Excellent and proven graphic and information design background
- Experience in design/prototyping of motion graphics beneficial (After Effects, Animate CC, etc)
- Strong Usability Design/Test experience
- Knowledge and practical use of UE4 or 5 and Blueprints is desirable
- 4+ years of experience working in the games industry
- Must be a creative but practical problem solver
- Must be resourceful, self-motivated, and organised
- Up-to-date with UX/UI trends in gaming and similar industries
