We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Construction Lecturer to join a dynamic team supporting offenders to gain their qualifications. Role Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver engaging learning programmes that meet learners' needs.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external quality assurance requirements and relevant strategic and delivery plans.
- Deliver challenging and stimulating sessions informed by learner needs and performance data.
- Set, monitor, and review SMART targets using Individual Learning Plans (ILPs).
- Maintain accurate learner records, including enrolments, progress, completions, and withdrawals.
- Support learning administration, including assessments, schemes of work, course reviews, and inductions.
- Promote high-quality, inclusive teaching and learning materials.
- Liaise with external agencies and awarding bodies as required.
Essential Criteria
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English at Grade C or above.
- A relevant degree or professional qualification appropriate to the role.
- Experience supporting learners to re‑engage with education.
- A recognised teaching qualification.
- All applicants for teaching roles must hold a recognised teaching qualification, or be willing to achieve one within the first two years of employment, with support from the College.
