The predicted salary is between 30000 - 35892 Β£ per year.

Job Purpose: Find work placements and industry placements for students. Help students gain useful real-world experience linked to their course and future career. Build relationships with employers to arrange placements, careers talks, masterclasses, interview practice and virtual work experience.

Main Duties:

  • Contact employers to source suitable work placement opportunities.
  • Check employers can offer proper supervision and a safe working environment.
  • Work with teaching teams to match students with relevant placement opportunities.
  • Keep accurate records of placement hours, employer activity and compliance checks.
  • Make sure students are prepared before starting placements, including paperwork and training.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a professional setting with customer service skills.
  • Confident contacting and building relationships with employers and clients.
  • Good understanding of health and safety requirements for work placements.
  • Organised, confident communicator who can manage records, solve problems and support students professionally.
  • Willing to complete a new Enhanced DBS check as required.
