An FE College in South London is looking to appoint a Construction Technician to support learners across practical construction workshops within a growing Construction department.
This role would suit someone with hands-on industry experience across multiple trades who enjoys supporting learners and maintaining a safe, organised workshop environment.
The Role
- Support students during practical sessions and help maintain high workshop standards across Construction provision.
- Supporting learners with practical workshop activities.
- Supervising and maintaining workshops in line with health & safety requirements.
- Preparing materials and equipment for lessons.
- Ordering and maintaining stock and consumables.
- Cleaning, maintaining and organising tools and workshop equipment.
- Supporting teaching staff within the Construction department.

- Level 2 qualification in Brickwork, Carpentry, Plumbing or similar Construction trade.
- Industry experience across at least two trades such as Brickwork, Carpentry or Plumbing.
- Experience working with young people.
