DevOps Engineer Contract Location: North London Start date: ASAP Are you an experienced DevOps professional looking for your next challenge in a dynamic organisation? About the Role You'll join the IT team at a further education provider, supporting the delivery, development and improvement of DevOps services, systems and IT projects. You'll help keep systems reliable for staff and students across teaching, learning and day-to-day operations, providing technical support across key applications, databases and integrations. Your responsibilities will include: Supporting key applications, databases, MIS systems and integrations. Providing technical support for applications, systems, incidents, upgrades, patching and fault resolution. Building, maintaining and optimising databases using tools such as SQL Server, MySQL and PostgreSQL. Supporting IT projects, including development work on data systems. Keeping systems, code, configurations and technical processes properly documented. What We're Looking For Essential: Experience in an IT, MIS, DevOps or technical systems role Experience with Azure DevOps and Microsoft-based systems Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills Desirable (but not essential): Relevant qualification in IT, Computing or Business Administration Experience with Jira If you're ready to bring your DevOps expertise to a further education provider in London, we'd love to hear from you.
