A further education provider is seeking an experienced Plumbing, Domestic Heating & Gas Assessor to support apprenticeship delivery and learner progression. You will assess apprentices against industry standards, providing guidance, feedback, and support throughout their apprenticeship journey. The role involves working closely with employers and colleagues to ensure learners achieve their qualifications and develop the skills required within industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess apprentices against industry standards and qualification requirements
- Support learners with evidence gathering and portfolio development
- Conduct progress reviews with apprentices and employers
- Make fair and accurate assessment decisions
- Provide constructive feedback and support learner achievement
- Work closely with curriculum teams and employers to support apprenticeship delivery
- Contribute to learner recruitment and curriculum development activities

What We're Looking For
- Level 3 qualifications in Plumbing, Domestic Heating & Gas
- Valid Gas Safe registration/card
- Recent hands-on industry experience
- Maths and English at Level 2 / GCSE Grade C or equivalent
- Confident IT and digital skills
- Willingness to complete the CAVA Assessor qualification
