Key Responsibilities
- Case Management: Lead a varied caseload of occupational health referrals, providing clear, actionable guidance on workplace adjustments and health recommendations.
- Advisory Support: Deliver confidential, professional advice to both management and staff in line with industry best practice.
- Assessments & Surveillance: Conduct pre-employment health assessments, manage sickness absence reviews, and oversee health surveillance programmes.
- Health Promotion: Actively promote and support the physical and mental well-being of all employees across the organisation.
- Safety & Compliance: Liaise with key stakeholders to ensure full alignment with occupational health and safety requirements.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with a specialist qualification or proven track record in Occupational Health.
- Demonstrable experience handling sickness absence, pre-employment screenings, and health surveillance.
- In-depth knowledge of occupational health legislation and best practice guidance.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear advice on complex health matters confidentially.
