Salary: Up to £45,000 (depending on experience)

Overview

Lead the planning, development and delivery of Construction programmes across FE, Adult, HE and Apprenticeships. Ensure high-quality teaching, strong learner outcomes and alignment with local skills needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Curriculum & Quality
  • Develop and maintain industry-relevant construction curriculum
  • Ensure programmes meet local and regional skills needs
  • Monitor and improve teaching, learning and assessment
  • Lead quality assurance, course reviews and action plans
  • Ensure compliance with awarding bodies
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead, support and develop teaching staff
    • Oversee curriculum planning and delivery
    • Drive performance against targets (achievement, retention, growth)
    • Promote best practice across the team
  • Operations & Delivery
    • Maintain accurate course records and tracking systems
    • Work with internal teams (MIS, exams, marketing)
    • Support enrolment and open day activity
    • Embed English, maths and digital learning
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    • Build relationships with employers and external partners
    • Act on learner feedback to improve delivery
    • Support curriculum growth and development
  • Compliance & General Duties
    • Ensure safeguarding, EDI and health & safety standards are met
    • Follow college policies and procedures
    • Deputise for senior management when required
