Key Responsibilities:- Design, plan, and deliver face‑to‑face teaching, digital resources, and tailored academic support; bring industry expertise into the classroom while keeping course materials contemporary, rigorous, and student‑centred.
- Provide constructive feedback on individual and class progress; help students understand assessment criteria, suggest clear pathways for improvement, and facilitate learning through online resources and research.
- Evaluate teaching sessions to continuously improve curriculum delivery and overall student satisfaction.
We want someone who believes in education's power to transform lives and thrives in a fast‑paced Higher Education (HE) environment.
- Master's and PhD degree in a relevant subject area.
- Previous UK Higher Education lecturing experience and deep subject matter expertise.
- Proven experience supervising student work and providing actionable feedback.
- Successful track record of teaching adult learners from diverse backgrounds.
- Strong reporting and administrative skills for maintaining accurate student records.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Preferred (but not essential): PGCAP, Fellowship of the HEA (FHEA), or equivalent qualification (or commitment to complete this within three years).
- Experience designing or developing academic or professional education programmes.
