An outstanding international school is seeking a passionate and experienced SEN/Inclusion Coach to lead and support inclusive teaching and learning across the school community. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced education professional with a strong background in inclusion and additional learning support to work collaboratively with teachers, students, families, and leadership teams to ensure every learner is empowered to thrive.

The successful candidate will combine specialist SEN expertise with a coaching approach, supporting staff to develop inclusive classroom practice while overseeing student support provision and intervention strategies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and overseeing inclusive practices across the school
  • Supporting teachers with differentiation strategies, intervention planning, and inclusive classroom practice
  • Monitoring student progress and using data to inform interventions and support plans
  • Maintaining and overseeing provision registers and student support systems
  • Collaborating with teachers, leadership teams, educational psychologists, clinicians, and external specialists
  • Coaching students to develop independence, confidence, self-advocacy, and effective learning behaviours
  • Supporting effective transitions between year groups and programmes
  • Coordinating examination access arrangements and approved accommodations
  • Supporting staff training and promoting best practice in inclusion and wellbeing
  • Contributing to curriculum development and strategic inclusion planning
  • Building positive relationships with parents and guardians to ensure collaborative support for learners
  • Promoting a culture of inclusion, wellbeing, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Experience in an inclusion leadership or SEN-focused role
  • Strong understanding of diverse learning needs and inclusive educational practice
  • Experience supporting learners with additional educational and language needs
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Passion for supporting young people and improving learning outcomes
  • Confidence working collaboratively within an international and diverse school environment

Desirable:

  • Experience within IB programmes including MYP and DP
  • Knowledge of international school systems and curricula
  • Postgraduate qualification or Master’s degree
  • Experience in curriculum development and teacher coaching
  • International teaching or living experience
